Youth Homelessness & Housing Support (SalvoCare)
DESCRIPTION
SalvoCare Case Managers provide support to young people aged 16-24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This can include situations such as couch surfing, living in unsafe, unsustainable or temporary accommodation or experiencing family violence. Young people are supported to actively work toward their ideal housing goals. The program further supports young people in addressing issues that may have contributed to their situation, including family reconciliation, referral to specialist services etc.

Referrals: (03) 5820 8000 during business hours. Professionals referring young people for support will be asked to complete the referral form. Young people can self-refer or request assistance by calling the number provided or attending the office at 27 Wyndham Street, Shepparton during business hours. Where family or friends are requesting support the young person needs to be aware of the referral.

SalvoCare Northern Victoria network operates as part of The Salvation Army Australia. SalvoCare Northern Vic employs more than 100 staff and is a network of programs and related services which aim to support the most marginalised and disadvantaged in our communities. This includes Youth Justice services; Alcohol and Drug services; Homelessness Services, including Intensive Case Management Services; Financial Counselling and Emergency Food Support; Employment Programs.
