SalvoCare Youth Refuge
DESCRIPTION
SalvoCare’s Youth Refuge provides crisis accommodation for young people aged 16-21 where all other options have been exhausted.
Located 10 minutes from Shepparton on a five Hectare property the refuge allows a young person to stabilise their situation and receive support to set goals for the immediate future. The program is funded to provide up to six weeks of supported accommodation during which time residents are supported to work toward finding sustainable housing. Where a young person doesn’t have professional supports or a Case Manager in place, SalvoCare will provide a Case Manager to support them in achieving their goals.
